How to Make a Public Records Request

As described in the Lincoln City Public Records Policy, LCMC Chapter 2.07 (Ordinance 2018-01) you can request public records using one of the following methods:

Print the application/pdfPublic Records Request Form or application/pdfRequest for Reproduction of Copyrighted Materials Form then do one of the following:

  • Complete, Sign, Scan and Email the form to cityrecorder@lincolncity.org. Public records requests submitted via email must be submitted to the City Recorder in order to be processed. All requests for Police records, please send to the Police Department. You can email twilliams@lincolncity.org

  • Mail the public records request form or bring it to:

    • City Recorder / Records Officer
      c/o/ City Administration
      801 SW Hwy 101, [P O Box 50]
      Lincoln City, OR 97367

  • Fax the request to 541-996-1203

Please note: The approved fee is established  by Council Resolution. The public was given an opportunity to comment on that fee. When not covered by the approved fee resolution, fees are calculated by multiplying time spent searching by the hourly rate of the employee.
