3 Pillars of Parks & Recreation
- Health and Wellness: advancing community health and well-being through parks and recreation.
- Equity: is at the center of all we do, as we strive for a future where everyone has fair and just access to quality parks and recreation programs.
- Conservation: creating a nation of resilient and climate-ready communities through parks and recreation.
"The mission of the Lincoln City Parks and Recreation Department is to enhance the quality of life and provide safe and accessible services, programs, and facilities for all."
Lincoln City Community Center and our Parks are open year-round and provide a safe environment for children, seniors, families, and visitors. We are open to the public, and different levels of membership are also available in our Center! Our center offers a 25-meter swimming pool with an enclosed water slide, diving boards, and rope swing; a warm water instructional pool with water features; and a 12-person hot tub. We have a weight room, cardio room, full-size gymnasium with basketball court, indoor walking/running track, senior center, and a 24-foot supervised indoor rock climbing wall! There's always lots to do for all ages with youth, adult, and senior activities, an after-school program, and many fitness programs and classes!
Lincoln City Parks and Recreation consists of 35 Parks and Open Spaces, with over 400 acres of trails, beach access, pathways and many opportunities for outdoor recreation. Lincoln City has 7 Open Spaces trails to discover. Conveniently dispersed throughout the city limits, they are easy to access with a trail located within 1-2 miles of most homes or hotels. Many trails are family-friendly and dog friendly, with hikes ranging from 1/3 mile to 3 miles in length. Access QR Code links on-site for trail information and maps in English and Spanish or download maps here.
