The Lincoln City Planning Commission is a seven-member citizen advisory body appointed by the City Council. Planning Commissioners are registered voters and generally live inside the city limits; however, up to two members may live outside the city limits but inside the urban growth boundary. No more than two members may have the same occupation. Commissioners serve for 4-year terms.

Oregon Revised Statutes require certain public officials, including members of the Planning Commission, to file an annual Statement of Economic Interest (SEI) with the Oregon Government Ethics Commission. Contact the City Recorder at 541-996-1203 (or email cityrecorder@lincolncity.org) for further information about this requirement and the process for becoming a member of the Planning Commission.

Meetings

The Planning Commission meets twice monthly, on the first and third Tuesdays, at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall, Third Floor, 801 SW Hwy 101, Lincoln City, Oregon. Meetings are open to the public and are streamed live on the Internet through the city’s website. Meetings are also broadcast live and re-broadcast on Charter Channel 4. Starting November 1, 2024, visit our Public Meetings webpage to view Agendas, Minutes and Video (when Video is used).
