NE 25th Street Apartments - Oceanlake District
The NE 25th Street apartments are under construction and are anticipated to open in summer or fall 2024. Innovative Housing Inc. was the selected developer for the site. Innovative Housing Inc has over 35 years of developing experience and operates about 1,000 affordable units in Oregon.
The development includes 107 low income apartments for those earning 30% average median income and 60% average median income. There will be a a total of eight buildings with a mix of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments to accommodate individuals and families. Once complete, the project will include wrap around support services for residents.
Financing low income housing can be a challenge. The City of Lincoln City is dedicated to increasing the number of housing units and contributed the land, SDC waivers and grant funding to support the project. The developer also secured $13.5 million from the Oregon Housing and Community Services LIFT funds.
To get on the "interested parties list" to be notified when a waiting list for occupants opens, please email Innovative housing Inc. at: lincolncity@ihipdxor.com
A second low income qualified project (Wecoma Place) is under construction at near Hwy 101 and NE 28th Street. To get on that list email the Housing Authority of Lincoln County (HALC) at: info@halc.info.
