Traffic Speed Shield Data
The City currently (July, 16th 2024) possesses 24 traffic speed feedback displays, 6 are permanent fixtures as shown by our interactive map. Please note that feedback displays do not have cameras to capture images.
To request installation at a particular location, fill out this form, print to PDF, and email to cyoung@lincolncity.org. Alternatively, you may call the public works front desk at 541.996.1013.
Once your request is received, your installation request will be placed on a queue. Public Works will determine if the requested sign placement is in an adequate location. Not all locations will be accepted. If the request is approved then the sign will be installed for a length of time that is deemed satisfactory to achieve the goals stated in the request. Data is used to inform decisions for traffic engineering best management practices, which include: permanent/temporary traffic calming structures, signage, paint markings, road classification, and more. Data from the traffic speed feedback displays is collected every three months and published here.
Please drive safely and respectfully. Thank You!
